The Arizona Cardinals have the No. 4 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. Yet, the team's general manager, Monti Ossenfort, is willing to listen to offers for the pick, especially since many teams are trying to position themselves to select a quarterback.
Ossenfort expects Draft trade talks to happen at next week's Annual League Meeting and is willing and open to listen to any offers, including for the Cardinals' No. 4 overall pick, especially with plenty of teams interested in selecting a quarterback this upcoming Draft.
"There will be a big neon sign that says 'open' and I don't like it blinking, it messes with my eyes, but we're always going to be listening," Ossenfort said Wednesday at a press conference alongside Head Coach Jonathan Gannon, per NFL.com.
Heading into their second season with the Cardinals, Ossenfort has plenty of roster holes to fill and decisions for a team that went 4-13 in 2023.
With Kyler Murray established as the team's franchise quarterback, an elite wide receiver is a top need for the team. They are in a prime position to select Marvin Harrison Jr. as Chicago, Washington, and New England are projected to select a quarterback, but the whole defensive unit needs to be addressed as well.
Ossenfort is heading to Orlando, Florida, for the league meeting next week. There, rules proposals will be voted on, and trade talks will begin for a potential moving and draft shakeup. The Draft takes place April 25-27 in Detroit.
